Findings from a Client Engagement and Attrition Study: Lessons Learned, Implications for Practice

Under the Palm Beach County’s Healthy Beginnings System of Care umbrella, the Nurse-Family Partnership program pairs a first-time, low-income mother-to-be with a nurse, who helps to teach new parents how to raise a happy, healthy child while encouraging them to continue to pursue their own life goals.

Like many service providers, the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County (CSC) has encountered challenges with engaging and retaining participants in its network of services for women and children, known as the Healthy Beginnings System of Care (HB System).
